Reporting concerns

You have the right to report concerns or about possible violations of law, or professional and ethical standards.

If you are unsure about where to go with your concerns, feel uncomfortable reporting through normal channels of communication, or wish to raise the issue anonymously, please utilize the Ethics and Compliance Hotline. 

The Ethics and Compliance Hotline is available to all CIGA employees, as well as clients, contractors, vendors, and members of the general public. The hotline operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is run by an independent third party provider to help preserve anonymity. Regardless of how a report is made, CIGA prohibits retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports a possible violation or who participates in an investigation, even if sufficient evidence is not found to substantiate the concern. CIGA will take appropriate action against any individual determined to be engaging in retaliatory conduct.

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report here for feedback or questions.

If you desire to report a matter that does not fall into an available category, please contact Human Resources if you are a CIGA employee or the Executive Director of CIGA if you are not an employee.
